Dispatch 01 / Current patch

What to prioritize in the 3rd-anniversary patch

Version 3.7, On Another’s Sorrow, runs through September 24. Start with anything that expires or arrives by mail; permanent story can wait.

Claim the anniversary mail immediately

The first bonus-mail window closes August 22 at 11:59 p.m. UTC−5. The official announcement lists ten Unilogs and ten time-limited Jars of Picrasma Candy distributed across five mails.

Collect the free units and portrait

Log in for the free 6-star Coppélia. Complete main story 1ST-16 for Silverwing Eagle. Claim the standard-pool portrait selection only after checking which owned character benefits most.

Finish both anniversary sign-ins

On Another’s Sorrow I runs through September 3; part II continues from September 3 through September 24. Together they award 20 Unilogs. A separate 10-pull Decatone is tied to the anniversary-limited banner.

Clear limited modes and shops

Take the one-time Clear Drops, event currency, growth materials, Psychube, and Gluttony-type rewards before returning to permanent farming. For this main-story patch, regular Activity stages can also contribute event-shop currency.

Calendar the September bonuses

From September 1–14, a seven-day sign-in awards a separate banner Decatone, five Unilogs, and a collectible. The special anniversary mail begins September 1. Do not assume every gift arrives on patch day.

Plan free garments before spending

Name Day’s The Deathless Quiet is a limited free reward from 8-Bit Arcade Remix. Community summaries place the broader free Prime Garment Box on October 1 for Global, so wait and verify its in-game pool before buying an older garment now.

Fastest order: mail → sign-ins → limited missions → event shop → recurring two-week modes → permanent story and material stages.

Dispatch 02 / Starting out

Stage farming for new players

Early progress comes from unlocking systems and concentrating resources. Build one functional four-character team before trying to raise every favorite.

Unlock the farm, then stop overfarming it

  • Clear 1-11 to unlock Dust stages, 2-8 for Insight stages, 2-10 for Psychubes and Pneuma Analysis, and 3-2 for Resonance and Artificial Somnambulism.
  • Push the current event or story as far as your team can reliably auto-clear. The highest comfortable event stage is usually more efficient than raw Dust or Sharpodonty stages because event currency buys multiple resource types.
  • Buy limited shop stock first: Unilogs, the event Psychube, Gluttony or amplification materials, high-tier Insight/Resonance items, and scarce character materials.
  • Only farm Dust and Sharpodonty directly when progression is blocked and the event shop or Wilderness cannot cover the shortfall.

Your first team target

Choose one damage dealer, one sustain character, and two supports or sub-DPS units that work together. Aim for a team that can clear story, Mane’s Bulletin, and one side of Limbo before investing heavily in a second team. Borrow a developed character whenever a stage permits support units; trial or Euphoria event characters can also bridge temporary roster gaps.

Do not miss: Pneuma Analysis has free daily attempts. Use them even when you are not actively leveling a Psychube; Thoughts in Entirety accumulate slowly and Gluttony remains valuable.

Dispatch 03 / Established accounts

Stage farming for veterans

Once your teams are built, efficiency means avoiding low-value overflow and stocking bottlenecks that do not arrive passively.

Default veteran loop

  1. Empty the current limited shop using the best currency stage or any eligible Activity stage specified by the event.
  2. Use free Pneuma Analysis attempts every day. Buy the discounted monthly Gluttony or highest-priority amplification item before optional Psychubes.
  3. Farm Sharpodonty only when a planned build will exhaust your reserve. Dust becomes less urgent once your main roster reaches its target levels.
  4. Use an up-to-date material calculator or stage sheet before farming purple materials; the most efficient story stage changes as new chapters add better drop combinations.
  5. Keep a reserve for the next unit instead of converting every material immediately. Patch shops often supply the featured character’s full Insight route more cheaply than story farming.

Psychube and Gluttony priority

A new event Psychube is often dramatically cheaper in its event shop than buying it later. Get it even when you are undecided about the featured character if the effect has broader value. For Gluttony, prioritize amplifications that materially change rotations, stack limits, or team output—not a tiny numerical gain on a Psychube you rarely field.

Dispatch 04 / Passive economy

Use the Wilderness to auto-farm Dust and Sharpodonty

The Wilderness is the account’s quietest progression engine. Upgrade it early, keep Vigor high, and collect before storage caps.

Upgrade Paleohall first

Story progression awards the required Child of Prosperity items. Each Paleohall upgrade increases the ceiling for your resource buildings and character capacity.

Raise the Dust Bell Tower and Sharpodonty Market

Farm Harvest Prime only until these production buildings and the Wishing Well are fully upgraded. After that, Harvest Prime no longer deserves routine Activity.

Build for Vigor, not only appearance

Place high-value islands and buildings until you reach a strong Vigor bonus, then decorate around that base. You can preserve themed layouts while keeping productive structures deployed.

Collect on a schedule

At maximum level, Sharpodonty base output can reach 7,200 over 16 hours before Vigor bonuses. Collect at least morning and evening so storage does not sit capped.

Dispatch 05 / Repeatable rewards

The free-reward sweep

Most missed value is not hidden in a difficult stage. It is scattered across tabs, reset timers, mail, Discord, and modes players forget after clearing once.
