I’m a data-driven individual passionate about leveraging data to generate meaningful insights. After graduating as Valedictorian of Lamar High School, I earned my B.A. in Data Science from UC Berkeley as a National Merit Scholar. At Berkeley, I explored the intersection of data science, linguistics, and computer science. Now, I’m completing my M.S. in Computer Science at UT Austin, specializing in Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
I’ve had the privilege of contributing to research in several esteemed labs. At UT Austin, I worked under Dr. Juliana Duncan to simulate chemical reactions for fuel cells, and at UC Berkeley, I helped develop an ML model for climate chemistry datasets with the Cohen Research Group. These experiences have enhanced my skill set in data analysis, making me adaptable and proficient in handling large-scale datasets.
Professionally, I’ve worked as a software engineer at Smarsh, where I integrated new features into a surveillance NLP application used by leading financial institutions. I’m committed to using my expertise to build ethical, impactful technologies that drive innovation.
Outside of work, I’m an avid basketball and tennis fan, and I enjoy hitting the courts whenever I can.
